Deuteronomy 28:2-4

And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.

This is a promise that is contingent on obedience. The blessings that are guaranteed when we, as a nation, are obedient to God include preeminence among others, material prosperity, fruitfulness, abundance of crops, victory in battle, and success in international trade. We, as believers, are to be an example of obedience to God, as obedience to Him is the only way our nation will be pulled back to blessing.
