Matthew 6:33-34

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

God makes a covenant with us. He, in effect, tells us that if we will put His interests first in our life, He will guarantee our future needs and if we seek His kingdom and His righteousness first, He will see to it that we will never lack the necessities of life. The believer’s responsibility is to live for the Lord, trusting God for the future with unshakable confidence that He will provide.
