Proverbs 10:26

As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to them that send him.

 

Vinegar irritates the teeth and smoke irritates the eyes. In the same way, the one who is lazy proves to be irritating, frustrating, and annoying to those who are involved with them.
