Proverbs 20:4

The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing.

Plowing time in Israel is in November and December, when the wind commonly blows from the North. The one who is lazy uses the cold weather for an excuse for their inaction. Without the plowing, no harvest. When they think that there should be a harvest, because of laziness, there will not be anything to bring into their barn.
