Proverbs 27:18

Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.

Whoever takes good care of a fig tree is rewarded with a good crop. Diligence in faithfully serving an employer will be honored by promotions, raises, or more responsibilities.
