The pure in heart will see God  -  Matthew 5:8

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

The pure in heart are given the assurance that they shall see God. A pure-hearted person is one whose motives are unmixed, thoughts are holy, and consciences are clean. The expression “they shall see God” may be understood in several ways – 1) they shall see God now, through fellowship in the Word and the Spirit, 2) they shall see God, as He works in their life and they are aware of it, 3) they shall see God in the future, in the person of Jesus Christ, 4) they shall see God for all eternity.
