If we want to become part of God’s kingdom, we must become like “little children”  -  Matthew 18:3

And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

In this section of Jesus’ teaching, He used an object lesson to stress the attitude that we must have, if we are to be part of His kingdom. He was stressing that in order to be a genuine believer, we must abandon thoughts of personal greatness and take the lowly position of a little child. This begins when we acknowledge our sinfulness and unworthiness and receive Jesus as our Saviour. This is the attitude that should continue throughout our Christian life.
