If we do not judge, we will not be judged  -  Luke 6:37

Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

There are two things that love doesn’t do – it doesn’t judge and doesn’t condemn. First and foremost, we are not to judge people’s motives because we can’t read the heart or mind, so we don’t know why a person acts the way they do. Notice – a critical, fault-finding spirit violates the law of love. There are certain areas in which, as Christians, we must judge. We must judge -1) whether people are true believers, otherwise we will not recognize an unequal yoke, 2) sin in our home and church, so we can keep it from spreading and causing great devastation, 3) between good and evil, so we know what to cling to and what to avoid.
