We can have faith by hearing the Word of God  -  Romans 10:17

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Paul wrote that faith comes from the message that is heard and that message is from God’s Word. Faith comes when individuals hear the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. But hearing with the ears is not enough, as a person must hear with an open heart and mind, willing to be shown the truth of God, His Son, and His Word.
