We are to trust that God will give us peace  -  Philippians 4:7

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Due to having peace with God, through our relationship with Jesus Christ, we can have the peace of God. The peace that God gives is capable of guarding our hearts and minds. God’s peace garrisons our emotions and thought life.
