If our heart does not convict us, we have confidence toward God  -  1 John 3:21

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

If we have a clear conscience, we have confidence before God. This is not an individual that is sinless, but has been quick to confess and forsake sin. By doing this, they have confidence before God and boldness in prayer. So, if our heart does not condemn us, neither does God and we have confidence before Him.
