If we give, we will receive  -  Luke 6:38

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

This verse pictures a farmer who casts out seed into his field, the more seed that is sowed, the greater the harvest will be. He will be rewarded with a greater abundance than the seeds that were sown. In the same vein, those who give generously are rewarded generously. This is a principle that is found throughout Scripture – we reap accordingly to what we sow.
