If our speech is seasoned with grace, we will know how to answer others  -  Colossians 4:6

Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.

Our speech should always be with grace, so that we may know how to answer each individual. Speech that is seasoned with grace is kind, humble, and Christlike and is free from gossip, uncleanness, and bitterness. If our speech is not gracious, we will not be able to answer anyone because they will not want to speak or listen to us.
