The peacemakers will be called the children of God  -  Matthew 5:9

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

A blessing is pronounced upon peacemakers. This is not speaking about people with a peaceful disposition or those who love peace. God’s way is to promote peace, through action, and a peacemaker is someone who actively intervenes to make peace, as the natural tendency is to watch strife from afar. By making peace, believers manifest themselves as children of God and one day He will acknowledge them as people who have the characteristics of a family member.
