If we confess Jesus before others, He will confess us before God  -  Matthew 10:32

Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

The reasonable response of every disciple of Christ should be to confess Him before others. If we face any reproach or persecution, we will be abundantly rewarded in Heaven when Christ confesses us before His Father. The confession of Christ involves our acknowledging of Him by both our life and lips.
