We will be rewarded according to our works  -  Matthew 16:27

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

This verse is not pointing to works to receive salvation but doing the works of God because of salvation. When Jesus returns in His glory, He will reward all those who live for Him.
