When two or three gathered together in Jesus’ name, He is in the midst of them  -  Matthew 18:20

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

  This doesn’t speak of a New Testament church in its simplest form or of a general prayer meeting but in a meeting where the church seeks the reconciliation of two church members that have been separated because of an offense. To meet in His name means to come together by His authority, in acknowledgement of all that He is, and in obedience to His Word.
