If we minister to the least of individuals, we are ministering to Jesus  -  Matthew 25:40

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

If we identify with Christ, we are to do those things that He does, give someone food when they are hungry, a drink of water when they are thirsty, clothes when they are cold, visiting them when they are sick, imprisoned, or grieving. He said that if we do those same things, it is as if we are doing them to Him.
