If we stand fast in the Lord, we will receive a changed body  -  Philippians 3:20-21

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

At the moment of salvation, our citizenship changes from this world to Heaven. Due to our change in citizenship, we need a body that can live in our new home. When Jesus comes to redeem us from this world, He will change this world’s body into a body that is fit for Heaven.
