Those who love Christ’s appearing will receive a crown of righteousness  -  2 Timothy 4:8

Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

Paul expressed confidence that he would be rewarded for his righteous service by Jesus Himself. Jesus, as the “righteous judge”, will have complete knowledge, will not show respect of persons, will evaluate motives as well as deeds, and will judge accurately and impartially. All who love the appearing of Christ will rewarded accordingly.
