God knows who belongs to Him  -  2 Timothy 2:19

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

It does not matter what is occurring around us, we can find comfort in the assurance that whatever has been established by God will endure. The foundation of God has a twofold seal – a divine side and a human side. The divine side - God knows those who are His and the human side - all those who claim to possess eternal life are to depart from iniquity.
