God doesn’t tempt us  -  James 1:13

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

Unholy temptations are designed to bring out the worst in us. Notice an important truth – when we are tempted to sin, the temptation does not come from God. He never tempts us to sin, as we have been saved to be holy, not sinful.
