Old Testament Promises When we have pity on the poor, God will provide for us  -  Proverbs 19:17

He that hath pity pon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again.

When we give to the poor, we are “lending” to the Lord. God will not only pay back whatever has been done for and to the poor, but He will pay it back with “interest”.
