God is merciful, gracious, and slow to anger  -  Psalm 103:8

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

In all of His dealings with His people, God has shown Himself to be merciful and gracious. He guides, protects, and provides for every step of their way, even though, His people are wayward, complaining, rebellious, and disobedient. No matter how they respond to His love and care for them, He is longsuffering and His mercy is steadfast.
