Love covers all sin  -  Proverbs 10:12

Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.

A hateful spirit is not satisfied to forgive and forget, as it craves to bring up old grudges and quarrels. A heart of love covers the faults and failures of others. These faults and failures must be confessed and forsaken but love does not gossip about them or hold them over someone.
